v1 or v2, which to pick
v2 gives a better model, 1080p, and location and prop panels, but scene video can cost three times as much. Mode cannot be changed after creation.
When you create a drama you pick one of two modes. v1 uses a lower-cost AI model for fast results; v2 uses our most advanced model for the best results. Those two names are what the settings panel shows.
| v1 | v2 | |
|---|---|---|
| Scene video cost | 19 credits, flat | 4 credits per second, so 20 to 60 |
| Resolution | 720p | 720p or 1080p |
| Scene length | 4 to 12 seconds | 5 to 15 seconds |
| Locations and Props panels | No | Yes |
| Key visual methods | start, start and end | grid, grid 3x3, direct |
Practical advice: use v1 to learn the workflow and for long series where volume matters, use v2 when the image quality of each scene genuinely decides the outcome.
