We are building an ecosystem where anyone can become a short drama producer.
Microdrama AI is an Indonesian platform for watching, producing, publishing, and earning from vertical short drama. The goal is a single one: move the ability to produce stories out of a handful of studios and into the hands of anyone with an idea.
Mission
Making one short drama used to require a camera, a crew, a shooting schedule, and money up front. That is not a filter for talent, it is a filter for capital. Good stories are everywhere; access to production is what has been scarce.
Our mission is to move those production tools into a single browser tab. Script, characters, voice, scenes, subtitles, and a finished episode are handled with AI, without a crew and without a camera, by one person in one afternoon.
Production is only half the work. Work that never reaches an audience is the same as work that was never made, and a paying audience means nothing if the money stops at the platform. That is why distribution and revenue share are part of the product here, not an afterthought.

Watching stays free
Thousands of episodes across more than 50 genres can be watched without paying. Viewers who want more, or want it sooner, use coins or VIP, but the front door is never locked.

Producing without a crew
Microdrama AI Studio carries the workflow from the first prompt: script, character cards that stay consistent across scenes, voice, subtitles, and a rendered episode. All you bring is the idea and a browser.

Publishing to an audience that already exists
Finished work is published into the same catalogue people watch every day, across eight regional editions of the site. New creators do not have to build an audience from zero first.

Earning under rules you can read
On coins, creators keep 70 percent and the platform takes 30. On VIP, earnings come from each title's share of watch time in the monthly pool. The numbers, the conditions, and the payout process are written out in the Help Center.
The long view
Entertainment for humans.
What we are after is not AI entertainment. It is entertainment for humans, and AI is simply one way of making it.
Some stories will come entirely from AI. Others will stay human from the first line to the last. Most, we suspect, will be a combination: people deciding what is worth telling, AI handling the parts that used to demand capital.
We are not taking sides between them. There is one measure that counts, which is whether the person at the other end feels their time was repaid.

Creators come first
Every product decision is tested against one question: does this make it easier to create and clearer to get paid. If the answer is no, the decision does not ship.

Numbers you can check
Revenue share, payout conditions, and how earnings are calculated live on pages anyone can read. Transparency that exists only as a word on a landing page is not transparency.

The format sets the shape
We did not build a general video tool and staple the word drama onto it. The whole workflow is designed for a 9:16 screen, episodes of one to three minutes, and an ending that pulls people into the next one.

Open to learn from
The Academy courses and the entire Help Center are free and open, with no sign-up. People cannot use a tool they do not understand.

Safety first, not later
Age limits, community guidelines, personal data handling, and takedowns of violating work are not bolted on afterwards. An ecosystem that is not safe will never be fair to anyone inside it.
